Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the rumored Second Series. BUT rather than continuation, from what I gather, it is an alternative telling of the story, from what I've seen they don't go to Lior at the beggining, and stay in Central City, chasing a rogue alchemist who is planning to freeze the whole central military quarters. It is curious, it definitely has superb graphics, as compared to the regular series, however it remains to be seen if the plot will be as interesting and if it will manage to keep up the interest for 52 episodes, as the original did.

Not yet. And a suprise to it - it's no longer a PlayStation exlusive. For the first time since Final Fantasy 9, the new one will also visit other platforms. So far X-Box 360 version was confirmed (who would have thought it will come to pass?) but it looks like a no-go for PC. Which kinda sucks since Fallout 3 was released on everything. And now The Witcher (yes, THIS Witcher) is coming to the consoles too. It's called "The Rise of The White Wolf" and it's gonna kick the crap out of Fallout 3 on consoles ^^. But then again it won't be too hard to do, considering Fallout's crapiness.

The Cadre is counting on us!
    Well, actually not quite.
We have the Dawn of War II absolutely confirmed and on the way, to be released this year BUT.
But there is a slight problem - it's back to the basics. People from Relic Entertainment are starting to put in a Sims - based strategy, which means a Basic game and then X of the addons. Well, they were extremely fair in that, cau'se the addons so far were hybrid stand-alone, but you could easily play them without having the whole series.
Anyway, the problem is, that againg we have just the uber-xenophobic Space Marines to play with in single player, and that's not all, instead of oh-so-awesome-and-baddas Captain Gabriel Angelos of the Blood Ravens 3rd Company we get the bastard from Dark Crusade, Davian Thule, and I soooo hate his voice. That's not all, because although we will get our hand on tyranids, we there will be only 5 playable races, so the basic Space Marines, Chaos, Eldar, Orc and Tyranids, and even some sources say that we won't see chaos, but Tyranids istead of them.
Other thing is that it's no longer an pureblood RTS, it's gonna be more tactical and RPG. I must say, I missed the RPG element in Dawn of War, even with the wargear collecting stuff in the later games, but I wouldn't get rid of all what made it RTS (yeah, we will have no base and unit production; in multiplayer we will have one main HQ and three kind of resources, or so they say) justyfying it by making it more pleasant in multiplayer, because one way or another, geeks will find a way to adapt the keyboard shortcuts in this game too, and the fun will end.
Still, I am looking forward again to fight and die for the glory of the Immortal One on the Golden Throne of Terra. For the sake of Greater Good in future.

Fallout 3 sucks pretty badly when compared to the second, or even the first one. Bethesta screwed up probably the most anticipated, miracoulously brought back from the dead game sequel ever. I shall elaborate this Fallout misery later, that is if I won't be murdered by a mob of armed psycho - fans who just don't know or don't remember the other parts and what COULD Fallout 3 be (take a close look at Van Buren Project. The bare, unfinished alpha version that you can dowload at some places offers more than F3). HAWGH.

I excpect that the affiliation is no problem at all, except we have to wait for Cortana to put it on the board, because it is likely that if I started messing with the HTML code, the results would be disatreous at least ;).

Hello everybody, and sorry for another long absence. The so - called adult life is sort of getting to me, so I can't spend so much time on the net anymore... But nevermind that. Welcome everyone new, and come on, spin off some discussion :]. Like, for example: we written earlier about continuation of FMA series, write whaddaya think about that ^^.

Come now, Cortana, get the newcomers a bit warmer welcome ;].

So, I have finally laid my hands on Fallout 3 and I must say that I have mixed feelings about it. And I warn you, there might be some spoilers ahead.

So, you are born in the Vault 101 and due to the course of events, you are forced to leave it at the age of 19. Before it, you have a quite nicely done training as you see various events from your hero early life. And that's all fine, especially when you add the awesome voice of Liam Neeson who voices your father. BUT first thing, they simplified significantly the model of character creation, also dropping the turn based combat (which actually makes the game bit more dynamic, but it's not really domething for the fans of old Fallout). And another thing - if the Calendar from F3 is right, the events take place 30 years or so after the end of Fallout 2. So where did the Enclave came from? I remember blowing up their main HQ very well, and killing the president and their top agent, Frank Horrigan. Even IF they did survived and rebuilded, Brotherhood of Steel would be quick to finish them off, because if I remember it correctly, they possesed the technology of Vertbirds (I had given them plans personally), and after crushing the bulk of Enclave's forces at the Poseidon Refinery, rest would be rather insignificant.
The other thing - size of the cities / settlements. I might not be so far into the game, but the first city I encountered wasn't really an impressive sight, especially if you remember that people actually complained about the size of the cities in F2. Heck, the first village in Witcher, a year old game was larger by far. Also the variety of quests and dialougues so far isn't all that impressive.
All so far. But the game goes on! Await the new Vault Dweller's Reports soon :]

It sure is good to be back, and guess what? Hellsing had been officially completed, or so I have heard, so no one have to worry now that they will make something strange with the story for the Hellsing Ultimate as they did with the series (a reminder for everyone who don't know yet - Incognito&CO is a Hoax, 'cause the TV series was completed when only three tomes of manga existed, but nevermind that) and so I wonder if

    Spoiler:

they have brought Alu back, they better did

. Otherwise, I am quite sure that Kohta Hirano's Mailbox is full of death - threatening letters, and probably even more stuffed than Hideaki Anno's was after premiere of End of Evangelion.
But Enough of that ;]. Welcome, to everone who had joined during my absence, and have a pleasant stay at the Hellsing Mansion. Try to avoid biting Mistres's Integra's neck, she does NOT appreciate it (neither do I) and stay away from my chambers :P. Other than that, feel free to roam around ^^.

Will I ever hear "I am honored to join the Ca'dre, Commander"? ;P
Nevermind that. Being as random as we are here, we all agreed that no matter at which side you are, Sanity is for the weak. In Poland, the Prime Minister of health agreesXD.
Again, nevermind that. I just wanted to welcome you to the Ca'dre (that's for Warhammer 40k hardcore gamers which I am now and always :P) and say that I'm sure I'm speaking for everyone when I say that we are happy to see someone new here ;].

This is indeed interesting, I mean the news about the second series of Fulmetall Alchemist. If you would ask me, the main problem of animes is that they ussually end too fast. And they can't really make a proper second series/season, as we could see it with Dragon Ball GT. Which isn't really an issue when it comes to things like Star Trek for exaple - the Next Generations managed to keep us entertained through SEVEN season, each 25 episodes, not to count the feature lenght movies and other Star Trek series XD. So why they just can't keep something like that up with an anime? For example; Not only FMA but also series like Grat Teacher Onizuka or Hellsing ask for continuation (provided they already ended ;] ) so I hope this will be a big step toward such continuations.

Take heart! The Ethereal Caste is with you.
You know what? Fallout 3 just came out and I have no idea HOW did it came out 'cause I don't know anyone who played, let alone own computer powerful enough to set it in motion.
    ANYWAY.
First thing first. I'm Back. Just as the world of Sanctuary will never get rid of Diablo, MT will never get rid of me. Speaking of which, DIABLO III IS COMING :D. Finally, after all theese years we get another chance to properly sent the evil back where it belongs, which of course means burning hell.
Hope it's going OK for another Hardcore Gamers :D

    Gentlemen. I love Minitokyo.

Gentlemen. I love Minitokyo. I love the text, I love the art.
I love the entrance loungue, the chat loungue, the in-depth disscussions.
I love to crush the enemies in disscussion, when they retreat, having no more argumments to confirm their thesis. When the spammers get restricted, and then come back on another account just to be banned, oh, how sad it is...
When reuniting with friends, that after a long absence are finally coming back, what joy it brings!
GENTLEMEN! We might be a group with no more than 10 active users, but each of you have the experience of thousand of them, therefore we are equal to an army of 10000 users! And as 10000 fists we shall strike and find new ones! To once more wage the war of the words!

Pierces the ceiling, falling inside in an Iron Man suit, singing "I'm Alive" by Dusturbed.
Screw Hirano and his theories. This suit tells me I'm alive, I'm alive :P. AND NO SLEEPING IN MY COFFIN.
    -=Alucard=-

  16. LordEndervonHellsing Aug 11, 2008

I so hope it's not over. FOR THE SAKE OF HIRANO, IT BETTER NOT BE. I went for it like "give them nothing, but take from them everything!" and likely, survived only by watching 300 in the meantime.
Now, as for getting to Major's means and Srhodinger's Cat thesis, it is not stated anywhere that the cat is everywhere and nowhere, it is just stated, that, let me apply enough pressure on that word, THEORETHICALLY the cat is both dead and alive at the moment, until we decide to open the cage, because of unstable nature of the element used in the experiment. More ranting tommorow, Alucard has left the building.

  17. LordEndervonHellsing Aug 11, 2008

Allright, allright... I am reading volume 10 right now. If I won't come back in a day, someone get me a nice gravestone, in case the shock can kill even the immortal ones.

  18. LordEndervonHellsing Aug 10, 2008

Spins around and throws the kicker at the wall.
I, personally am a bit affraid of donloading and reading vol.10 of Hellsing. I dont' want to see Alu having his ass kicked...

  19. LordEndervonHellsing Aug 09, 2008

Replied. We might as well spin-off a discussion about Van Buren here. Who else thinks that guys from Interplay should be punished by some nasty things wchich I can't really write down here for abandoning the Van Buren project?
